A Victory Lap with a Kindergarten Teacher

What follows is an interview with a kindergarten teacher in her 60s in Australia, who slung her skeptical husband over her shoulder, learned how to pick her own stocks & invest her own money in 8 weeks… and 2 years later has eviscerated her family’s fear that they might never retire.

From here it’s clearly best to let Karen do the talking:

From Kindergarten Teacher to Confident Investor!

In 2024 I discovered Find Fat Fish and my eyes were opened to a whole new world of stock picking. With Cole’s unmatched coaching, I learned how to vet, pick, and trade with confidence in just eight weeks. There was no jargon and no unrealistic promises—just a simple yet comprehensive method that anyone can understand.

As a female and a kindergarten teacher, I could never have imagined the kind of success I’ve achieved with the portfolio I built as a result of the Find Fat Fish course.

Fast-forward to April 2025 and the launch of the Catch of the Month Club. After completing the course a year earlier, I really missed the camaraderie of learning alongside like-minded people. Cole invited me to join this next-level program, which builds on the foundational skills developed during the course.

Each month we pitched one company, provided evidence of our actions, and celebrated our wins. Every part of the process mattered. It’s all too easy to spend your time researching companies but never actually taking action. The accountability built into the program keeps you moving forward, and the celebration reminds you that the work is important—but not more important than living well.

I only wish I had found this course 10 or even 20 years ago. I look forward to our weekly meetings—whether it’s pitching or learning—and the growth of my portfolio and my self-belief has far outweighed the financial cost.

I am eternally grateful to Cole for his extraordinary mentoring and look forward to tending my portfolio with the skills I’ve learned ongoing.”

This finterview begs one simple question: Is it time you went from “researching” to discussing your success?
